About

My interest in travelling remote areas of Australia started in the early 80s.  The Moomba gas fields were in their early development, and I was posted to the Cooper/Eromanga region. Having the flexibility to explore the region served as a sound reminder in the late 90s when it was time to find a hobby. 

Since then the travelling hobby has taken me to wonderful and rarely-visited locations, discover fascinating people and allowed me to follow in the footsteps of our early pioneers.

2020 to 2022, the COVID years, time was at hand to complete my 4WD canopy design and to build it.  With Leslie's list of refinements, it's a sight to be seen.
