My interest in traveling remote areas of Australia started in the early 80s. The Moomba gas fields were in their early development and I was posted to the Cooper/Eromanga region. Having the flexibility to explore the region served as a sound reminder in the late 90s when it was time to find a hobby.
Since then the traveling hobby has taken me to wonderful and rarely-visited locations, discover really interesting people and allowed me to follow in the footsteps of our early pioneers.
In more recent times, I have put my business skills to good use in these parts and investigated several sustainable business opportunities with community ownership, skills development and governance.
